Like cosying up in your favourite wool sweater, this fragrance is luxurious, warm and cosy. Inspired by the traditional Aran Jumpers which were knitted in undyed sheep's wool by the mothers and wives of fishermen and farmers of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. This scent begins with comforting creamy top notes of honey and spice and a hint of citrus and moves to a middle of warm tobacco which rests on a bed of sandlewood. Homeland sustainable fragrance collection. Every element of a Soilse candle is sourced and produced responsibly from our Co Louth workshop, as part of our commitment to reduce our impact on the environment.
We hand pour each candle twice in small batches using 100% renewable soy wax blended with phthalate-free and paragon-free fragrance oils.
All ingredients are vegan and are not tested on animals.
We use cotton , lead free wicks and all of our packaging is plastic free, FSC certified recycled and recycled glass.
We strongly encourage the re-use of our vessels.

As an Irish designer who recently returned to these shores after 11 years in New York, I was inspired and overwhelmed by the outstanding beauty which I have re-discovered living in the countryside with my husband and family. This is something I wanted to capture and share with the world, combining light, warmth and comfort with memory, inspiration and home. Every Soilse Irish Candle awakens a particular landscape and memory, the scent being a wonderfully tantalizing and evocative fragrance inspired by the natural beauty of the Irish outdoors.
